Cruising Boat Systems Quiz
This quiz will test your knowledge of the different engineering issues and systems on a sailboat.
Sailboats vary in their level of complexity from the simple small racing boat to the luxurious catamaran. The more you know about how a boat is engineered the better equipped you will be to service it and handle any issues you might encounter at sea. Similar to a floating building, sailboats have fuel systems, ventilation, toilets, showers, water storage, galleys, engines, bilges, electrical and battery systems, and more. Things are bound to break as the wear and tear on a boat can be intense. They are in need of constant maintenance and attention. This quiz will test your knowledge of the different engineering issues and systems on a sailboat.
