Safety Gear and Procedures Quiz
This quiz will test your knowledge of several situations where thinking quickly will save you and your passengers.
Emergencies at sea have been one of the great storytelling themes since we first learned to travel in boats. There is an inherent terror and fear in being helpless in the middle of the ocean. Luckily most emergencies can be avoided with forethought and preparedness. When accidents or safety concerns do arise, a prepared sailor acts fast to keep themselves and their crew out of danger. Fire, flooding, dismastings, running aground, man-overboard– they all can be controlled by being prepared. If you sail long enough you will inevitably have trips where something goes wrong. This quiz will test your knowledge of several situations where thinking quickly will save you and your passengers.
